Admin Ability to Edit User Email (Critical for Workflow Continuity)

We request the ability for an admin to securely update a user’s email address in the User entity.

Why this is important:

• Users frequently lose access to their old email accounts.

• Creating a new account results in duplicated users and data inconsistencies.

• Admins currently cannot correct or update an email even when fully verified by the user.

• This limitation disrupts user management and requires unnecessary manual workarounds.

Current Issue:

The email field is locked due to authentication linkage. While this is understood, not allowing admin updates creates ongoing operational challenges and affects the accuracy of user records.

Requested Solution:

Provide a secure, admin-only method to:

• Update the email field for any user

• Trigger re-verification if required

• Preserve all associated data and history

Impact:

This improves data accuracy, reduces duplication, and resolves a very common user support issue.
