I have already built a custom Project To-Do page inside my Hitchr app to track development tasks. It has:
Categorized sections (e.g. CRITICAL BUGS, PAYMENT & JOB MGMT, Scheduled Automations)
Tasks with priority tags (High/Medium/Low), creation dates, checkboxes for done/completed, delete icons
Progress indicators per section (e.g. "1 PENDING", "4 PENDING")
Quick-add form: task text + category dropdown + priority dropdown + Add button
CSV Import / Export buttons for bulk management
Accessed via left nav → To-Do
It works great for manual tracking and visibility, but the AI builder has zero awareness of it and does not use it.
Current problems:
Chat TODO lists become chaotic very quickly — small bugs appear while fixing something, we chase them, then the day ends and the next session loses all context.
I have to re-prompt the AI for each task individually (e.g. "now fix address masking", "now set up SendEmail notifications"), which wastes credits and time repeating priorities and context.
No automatic way to enforce the priority order I set on the To-Do page.
No automatic progress updates when the AI completes a task — I have to manually check the box.
Feature request: Integrate the AI builder with the existing Project To-Do page so it can:
Be told (via chat or toggle): "Follow my Project To-Do page in priority order" or "Process next highest-priority pending task"
Read pending tasks from the page, sorted by priority (High first) then creation date
Work on one task at a time: implement/fix → show changes → ask for confirmation ("Task complete? Move to next? Y / edit / skip / postpone")
On user confirmation of success: automatically check the task as done on the To-Do page (update checkbox + add optional note/timestamp)
If a new blocker or bug appears during work: allow the AI to suggest adding a new task card to the To-Do page and pause/resume
Nice-to-have: show the current queue in the builder chat ("Next 3 tasks: 1. Fix duplication… 2. Set up SendEmail…") and simple commands like "skip to task X" or "mark as blocked"
Why this would be transformative:
The To-Do page becomes the single source of truth for what needs doing next.
No more losing track across sessions/days — AI picks up exactly where we left off.
Huge credit savings by eliminating repeated context prompts.
Much better for real-world app development with dozens of interdependent fixes (payments, emails, scheduling, UI polish, bugs in my rural rides/deliveries platform).
Screenshot of the current To-Do page attached for reference.
Thank you for considering this — it would make iterative, multi-day building feel much more structured and reliable.
