I love Base 44 first of all, it has saved me a lot of time and opened doors to help move my business forward so I appreciate this platform. As I was building my CRM for my youth services organization, I put in the chat that this organization is for underserved and low income youth and your algorithms pulled up some fake clients that have names associated with the African American and Hispanic community which shows the algorithms are coded with this community if “underserved and low-income” are added to the chat. As an African American woman business owner this is very unpleasant to see. I work with youth of all races and cultures and most of them are low income and underserved and consist of not just blacks and mexicans but white, asian, middle eastern, etc. so I think you should consider checking your algorithms so this doesn’t happen frequently and your clients who are building apps here don’t think your tech team is racist. Thanks for listening!
