Base44 is lagging behind! Missing AD_ID permission is a dealbreaker for Play Store

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out because I’m beyond frustrated with a recurring issue in Base44 that is literally blocking every single one of my apps on the Google Play Console.

The platform currently does NOT support the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission in the AndroidManifest.xml. As a result, Google Play rejects every build because it targets Android 13+ (API 33).

Support's response was basically: "We don't support ads, and you can't edit the file manually." Are you kidding me?

This isn't just about "supporting ads"—this is about compliance with Google’s mandatory policies. Because of this missing tag, I can't even declare my apps properly. Why should I spend weeks developing niche apps if I can't even monetize them or pass the basic Console requirements?

Every modern app builder should have a simple toggle for Advertising ID. This is a basic technical requirement in 2026, not a "luxury feature."

Is anyone else losing their mind over this? Base44 team, you need to fix this immediately. We are losing time and money because of a single missing line in a manifest file that we aren't even allowed to edit.

Fix the manifest generation or we simply can't publish anymore.
