Create a File Manager (Server files)

Create a dedicated file management interface would be a valuable feature. Unfortunately, it does not exist at the moment.

Currently, here's how uploaded files work in Base44: when users upload files through the UploadFile integration, the file URLs are stored in my app's data entities. To manage these files, you need to:

1. Go to Dashboard → Data

2. Find the entity where file URLs are stored (this is typically where your upload functionality saves the file references)

3. You'll see the file URLs in the data table

4. You can delete individual records (which removes the file URL reference) or export the data to see all file URLs

However, I am looking for something more direct - an actual Files management section where you can:

• Browse all uploaded files in one place

• See file types, sizes, and upload dates

• Preview files

• Delete files directly without navigating through data entities

A server file explorer.. I don’t know what users uploaded and storage size can be nuts and also transparency on what was uploaded. Physically what is in the storage, not the reference of the file in Data entitify.
