I’m currently on the $50 Base44 plan because it fits my actual usage perfectly, and in most months it’s more than enough for me.

This month, however, I happened to work heavily on a fairly large system, hit the credit limit, and discovered there’s no option to purchase additional one-time credits without upgrading straight to the $100 plan.

Honestly, that’s pretty frustrating.

I’m not a consistently “heavy” user, so committing to a permanent upgrade to the $100 tier simply doesn’t make sense for my workflow right now. But at the same time, being forced to stop in the middle of an active project and wait 9 days for credits to reset is a really rough experience — especially after already investing significant time building the system and just wanting to finish it.

I genuinely think there’s a missing middle-ground solution here:
A one-time Credit Pack purchase option for existing users.

Even something simple like:

• $10

• $20

• $30

Just enough to keep working without forcing users into a permanently higher subscription tier.

I really like Base44 and honestly think the product is fantastic, but right now the pricing model feels a bit too “all or nothing.” And that’s the kind of thing that can push users to start looking for alternatives — not because of the product itself, but because of the lack of flexibility in scaling usage.

Curious if anyone else here has run into the same issue.
