Dear Base44 Support Team,
I am submitting feedback regarding my recent experience using the Base44 platform, specifically concerning credit usage, publishing charges, authentication issues, and repeated AI correction requests.
Tonight, while working inside Base44, I noticed that certain actions which appeared to require only one credit were deducting three credits instead. This happened more than once. I also noticed that when I clicked “Publish,” the system deducted three credits. I asked the AI about this, and the AI indicated that publishing should not have taken three credits. However, the credits were still deducted from my account.
This raises a concern because the credit system should be transparent, accurate, and consistent. If an action is supposed to cost one credit, the system should not deduct three. If publishing is not supposed to deduct three credits, then those credits should be reviewed and restored.
I also experienced an issue with the Google sign-in option on my app. The Google sign-in button was not working properly and kept sending users to an error page. Because of this, I had to turn off the Google sign-in option and rely only on email/password login. This created unnecessary delays and affected the professional appearance and functionality of the app.
In addition, I have submitted multiple support tickets regarding credit usage and platform performance. A major concern is that the AI often does not complete the requested change correctly the first time. When that happens, I have to repeat the same instruction several times, and each repeated request continues to use credits.
From a customer standpoint, this does not seem fair. If the AI misunderstands or fails to complete the original instruction correctly, the customer should not continue losing credits for asking the AI to correct the same issue. There should be a safeguard in place for repeated correction requests, especially when the repeated prompt is not a new task but a correction of something the AI failed to complete properly.
For example, if I ask the AI to replace all references from “SugarFans” to “SocialGramm,” and the AI only changes some of them but leaves others unchanged, I should not be charged again and again for repeating the same correction. That is not a new request. It is the same unresolved request.
I am respectfully requesting that Base44 review the following:
My recent credit usage.
Whether credits were incorrectly deducted.
Why publishing deducted three credits.
Whether publishing is supposed to cost credits.
The Google sign-in error issue.
Why repeated correction prompts are charged when the AI does not complete the original task correctly.
Whether Base44 can implement a safeguard so customers are not charged repeatedly for the same unresolved correction.
I appreciate the tools and capabilities that Base44 provides, but the credit system should be fair, accurate, and easy to understand. Customers should not be penalized for platform errors, broken authentication features, publishing confusion, or repeated AI misunderstandings.
Please review this feedback, check my account activity, and restore any credits that were incorrectly deducted. I would also appreciate a clear explanation of how credits are charged for publishing, corrections, and repeated AI requests. I suggest with your Ai to see if you can come together with Chapgpt. Because i have to use it for your aI to understand what I am talking about. That shouldn’t be. To much time spend. Ai was design to cut down your time.
