Critical limitation on the login page (/login) and need for multilingual support
Dear Base44 team,
I would like to highlight a critical issue regarding the authentication experience on the platform, which directly impacts usability and adoption across different regions.
Currently, the default login page (/login) is only available in English, creating a significant barrier for users who operate in other languages, such as Portuguese. This limitation forces developers and businesses to build custom authentication pages β something that should ideally be optional, not required.
In addition, there is a second important issue: the password reset flow redirects users to an internal Base44 domain. This breaks the consistency of the user experience and may reduce trust, especially in sensitive contexts such as account access.
Combined, these limitations increase development complexity, extend implementation time, and negatively affect the perceived professionalism of the solution.
The suggested improvement is clear:
Implement native multilingual support on the default login page (/login), allowing developers to easily configure the interface language. Ideally, this should also include customization of authentication flows, such as password recovery, while keeping the experience consistent within the clientβs domain.
This improvement would eliminate the need for workarounds, reduce friction in user onboarding, and significantly enhance the overall platform experience.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope this issue can be prioritized, as it directly impacts end-user experience and the scalability of projects built on Base44.
Sincerely,
Leonardo
