As someone who deeply understands the challenges of building a startup, I write this review with empathy and respect. I genuinely admire the vision behind Base44 — it's clear that a lot of thought and effort has gone into building a promising product. The idea of empowering non-coders to create apps is powerful and much needed in today’s world. That’s what initially drew me in.
However, as a paying customer with two active memberships, I’ve faced ongoing issues that have been difficult to overlook. Despite submitting over four support tickets, I have yet to receive any form of assistance. The lack of response has been disheartening, especially given how critical customer support is when offering a no-code platform meant for beginners.
What saddens me the most is that I wanted this to work. I saw real potential in the product. But the reality didn’t match the expectations set by the marketing on social media. As someone without a coding background, I felt misled by the promise that I could easily build an app. Without adequate guidance or responsive support, that promise fell flat.
Ultimately, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel my memberships. It’s not a choice I make lightly, and it comes from a place of frustration rather than disappointment in the product’s concept. I sincerely hope the team can work through these growing pains, because Base44 has the potential to become something truly valuable — once the customer experience is given the attention it deserves.
