I'm a Base44 Superagent user and I'd like to formally request dark mode support for the chat interface at app.base44.com.
I've already attempted the following workarounds with no success:
Enabled dark mode at the OS level (Windows 10)
Set ui.systemUsesDarkTheme to 1 in Firefox's about:config (forcing dark mode system-wide)
Restarted the browser after each change
The Base44 chat interface remains fully white/light regardless. This tells me the app is hardcoding light theme styles rather than inheriting from the browser or OS preference.
Dark mode is a standard accessibility and usability feature in 2026. Many users — especially those working late hours or with eye sensitivity — expect it as a baseline. The Superagent chat is designed for frequent, extended use, which makes the absence of dark mode particularly noticeable.
Requested implementation options, in order of preference:
A dark/light toggle button in the chat UI
Automatic detection of OS/browser dark mode preference via prefers-color-scheme
A user settings page where theme can be selected
I'm happy to provide screenshots or additional details if helpful. Thank you for considering this.
