Major Caching Issue...

I’ve been using Base44 since Sep/Oct 25 to build my app which has been running successfully for many, many months now. When I started, scheduled tasks via automations was not possible and so I had to rely on a third party (cron-job.com). In that configuration, everything was executing fine. Then Base44 perform backend updates and that phucks everything. New security, new ways to do stuff, and so it’s back to the drawing board to rebuild all the ‘scheduled’ functions. Most of the time the issues were/are security based as in the function is executing in the wrong context etc. Then ‘automations’ were introduced. Yay, phucking Yay!!! I moved all scheduled functions to automations and rebuilt them again as the security contexts changed. Each time, it was coding credits, testing, coding credits, testing etc and I was burning through my allocated ‘credits’ like a man possessed. Ok, the cost of doing things properly…I told myself. Automations have been running successfully for several months and now all of a sudden, they stop working. I use the AI to troubleshoot. Update the SDK’s to the latest and low and behold every change starts to be applied (according to the AI) but the physical files start to not be changing. The AI tells me it’s a bug. The caching is not updating properly. I raise tickets. I troubleshoot to assist. I raise more tickets. The response is POOR, underwhelming and there seems to be no interest in resolving the issue. I use the AI in the help function and it reports it as a bug also. What the actual PHUCK. I now have an app that is useless (after months of development), major caching issues, and nearly every automation failing. Come on Base44. Pull your fingers out and sort this now. Oh, I forgot to mention, I’m still being charged for my account…

Has anyone else been having caching issues?

I have tried various browsers, clearing local caches/cookies, and other similar items including a brand new machine. No luck. I even went and deleted one of the functions (via the AI) which tells me it was gone. When I look, it’s still there. I tell the AI to delete it again, and it tells me “It’s back, caching issue, bug” (paraphrasing).

I’m very disappointed in the platform. Particularly at this stage of the game.
