We would love to see native Telegram integration in Base44.
Telegram already provides official identity flows for both:
- Telegram Login for regular websites
- Telegram Mini App / WebApp identity via initData
Base44 already has built-in auth, backend functions, app infrastructure, and strong B2B/public app potential. What is missing is a clean native bridge between Base44 and Telegram identity.
What we need:
- native Telegram Login support for standalone websites
- native Telegram Mini App / WebApp identity support
- secure server-side validation of Telegram initData
- clean mapping from Telegram user identity to Base44 users/sessions
- one unified user identity across website + Telegram Mini App
- easy setup flow, ideally close to “connect bot + set domain + enable Telegram auth”
Why this matters:
Many public apps today need to work in 2 modes:
1. as a normal website
2. as a Telegram Mini App
Without native Telegram auth support, builders have to create custom glue code for:
- auth validation
- session linking
- user creation
- identity sync
- quota/profile logic
This adds a lot of unnecessary complexity for something that should become a first-class integration.
A native Telegram auth layer in Base44 would unlock:
- user accounts tied to Telegram
- secure daily quotas
- personal dashboards/profiles
- public content attribution
- website + Telegram continuity in one product
This would be extremely valuable for mobile-first public apps and for builders creating products around Telegram ecosystems.
Would love to see Base44 support this as a native feature.
