The current agent I built on base44 is getting great feedback from my test group; however, I am running into two major limitations. 1) It is not possible to access all of the conversations even with an admin level role. 2) Even as an admin I can’t even delete my own content nor anyone else’s in my app.
This creates a major issues across several departments: engineering, QA, Legal, Marketing, Product Management to name a few.
I was initially to try to mirror the backend, but that also doesn’t allow access to the data either.
I was told the issue is limits in base44.agents
The workaround provided by the support team was to:
“Custom Chat Architecture: If you need absolute control over data residency, visibility, and permanent deletion right now, we recommend building a custom chat interface within your app using standard entities (database tables) instead of the built-in Agents module. By storing chat messages in a regular table, you gain full CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) capabilities and can manage permissions exactly how you need for an admin panel.”
This needs addressed ASAP.
