For me, it was a complete failure.

It's true, it's the novelty, but the way customer/machine data/information is processed is completely wrong. I don't know if it's part of their code that base44 itself is creating a way to defraud customers, but I've detected it on more than one occasion. You propose an app to them, step by step, explaining how you want it, and they don't understand the reasoning. It creates things that are irrelevant or half-baked. If you selected a "PREMIUM OR SUBSCRIPTION" plan and you're about to finish your messages, it goes crazy. You tell it to do one thing and it does another, or you fix one thing and it messes up another, and in a matter of minutes, it uses up your balance. It even tells you that your compression is wrong and takes away your messages. For me, it's something that has completely disappointed me. I prefer to use another one, which I won't name out of respect.
