I run a romance book PR and marketing firm and our blog is central to our business. Every blog post promotes a specific book release for one of our author clients, and those posts get shared directly on Facebook, Pinterest, and other social platforms.
Currently, when a blog post URL is shared, Facebook and Pinterest pull the same generic site-wide OG tags (our logo, site name, and generic description) instead of the post-specific title, cover image, and description. This means every shared link looks identical regardless of which book is being promoted - which significantly undermines the impact of our social sharing campaigns.
Per-page og:title, og:description, and og:image in the initial server-rendered HTML is standard for any content-driven site that relies on social sharing. This is a critical business need, not a nice-to-have.
I am an Elite plan customer, and this limitation is directly impacting the value I can deliver to my author clients on every campaign.
Please prioritize server-side or pre-rendered per-page Open Graph meta tag support.
