In addition to the authentication issue, I want to be transparent: I am encountering many problems and errors throughout the entire period I have been building my application on Base44.
It feels like many features were created, but not fully thought through from a real product and user-experience perspective. Building a good product or app has very little to do with how brilliant the initial idea is — it depends entirely on how well the creators understand the needs of the end users.
“Creating a good product/app has nothing to do with how brilliant the idea is; it depends solely on how well you understand consumer needs.”
Base44 is a very good platform, and I genuinely like it. However, it is currently too limited in key areas, and many decisions suggest the absence of strong product leadership — someone thinking strategically at the top, especially about UX, branding, and long-term scalability.
Understanding the user is the most important part, but for a product to last, good execution also matters. Even if you understand what users want, if the product is poorly executed — with too many flaws, limitations, or an unpolished experience — users will simply leave and choose another solution.
If an app has too many issues or feels unfinished, users won’t stay, regardless of the idea behind it.
My intention is not to criticize destructively, but to highlight real friction points that affect all developers using the platform, not just me. Base44 has strong potential, but it needs deeper product thinking, better execution, and fewer hard limitations that block serious production use.
I hope this feedback is taken as constructive input from someone who truly wants the platform to succeed.

Jean Jumeau Geffrard
