Hello,
We are developing a CV creation application and have a critical need for exporting CVs in Microsoft Word (.docx) format with a layout faithful to our designs.
Currently, we can generate PDFs from our web application (HTML/CSS), but converting HTML to .docx is unreliable for maintaining precise layouts.
Our preferred approach would be to:
Utilize a frontend library (such as docxtemplater) to populate pre-existing Word templates with placeholders.
Or have a backend function on the Base44 platform that would allow for .docx file manipulation (e.g., populating a .docx template with JSON data).
This would enable us to offer a high-quality Word export feature to our users, which is essential for our use case (job searching).
Could you please indicate if such functionalities are planned or if they could be added to Base44's development roadmap?
Thank you.
