Users often need to revert their app to the exact version that is currently live (published), especially after making breaking changes during ongoing development without republishing.
However, the Version History panel does not currently indicate which version was the last one published, forcing users to manually guess based on timestamps and dates. This leads to frustration, trial-and-error restores, and potential downtime for live apps in use.
Proposed Feature:
Automatically tag or highlight the last published version in the Version History list (e.g., with a "Published" badge or pin icon).
Add a dedicated "Revert to Published" button in the editor or history panel that directly restores the app to the most recent published state, bypassing manual selection.
This would streamline recovery, reduce support tickets, and prevent users from getting "stuck" after reverts and failed fixes, as seen in recent support threads where users couldn't easily identify the live version.
Prioritizing this could improve user trust and productivity for apps with active users.
