"Run Mode" Subscription

Subscription plans currently target development activities. But when development is “completed” and only the ability to run an app is required, there should be a separate more affordable option to run “frozen” apps.

I have developed a few apps for my local not-for-profit sports club as well as one for my small sole proprietor business. But I don’t envisage much more development taking place and only need the ability to run my finished apps. Of course if more development is required, one needs to reinstate a developer subscription. The ongoing subscription for apps with backend functions for a sports club is somewhat prohibitive. They can currently ride on the back of my business’ subscription, but upon retirement my subscription will end and their apps will likely become too expensive for them to keep accessible.
