SMS login authorization

Over the weekend, my organization ran a school fair. I used base44 to build the school fair app, allowing visitors to login either their email, track what tables they visited, view the fair map, see the event schedule, and stay up to date on transportation information.

1 roadblock was getting folks to login with their email (either through using Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or through signup). So many people struggled with navigating their email/password, etc. Having the ability to allow users to create an account with their phone number and using an OTP would greatly reduce time being spent trying to login.

I can’t express enough how much this feature would have made the school fair event (and really any event that requires login) even smoother. Everything else worked perfectly!
