Subject :Feature Request: Direct GitHub Import with Two-Way Synchronization

Dear Base44 Team,

My name is Naif Talal Al Essa, founder of Organic G Brain, Genetic Learning, Genetic Invent, and Design Code. I am currently using Base44 and I appreciate the platform’s vision of helping users build applications quickly with AI.

I would like to submit a feature request that I believe would significantly improve the Base44 development workflow:

Please add direct GitHub repository import into Base44, similar to platforms such as Replit and other modern AI development platforms.

At the moment, Base44 supports two-way GitHub synchronization, which is useful. However, the missing part is the ability to start a Base44 project by importing an existing GitHub repository directly into the platform. This creates difficulty for users who already have established projects, codebases, branches, and production repositories.

The ideal workflow would be:

1. The user selects “Import from GitHub.”

2. The user connects their GitHub account.

3. The user chooses an existing repository and branch.

4. Base44 imports the project files directly.

5. Base44 then enables two-way synchronization between the imported repository and the Base44 project.

6. Future changes can move both ways: from Base44 to GitHub and from GitHub to Base44.

This would be extremely valuable for developers, founders, and businesses who already have working applications and want to continue building them inside Base44 without manually copying files or creating workaround workflows.

This feature would also make Base44 more competitive with platforms that already support direct GitHub import, while making the existing two-way GitHub sync much more complete and practical.

I strongly recommend adding this feature as soon as possible, because it would help users migrate existing projects into Base44 more easily and make Base44 a more complete development environment.
