Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Base44 recently, but I’ve hit a massive wall regarding SEO. I realized that the platform doesn’t allow custom meta tags or HTML file uploads for site ownership verification.
What’s the point of having a website if it doesn't show up on Google or Naver? A website’s primary purpose is to be discovered, but without support for Google Search Console or Naver Search Advisor, my site is basically a "private diary" that only I can see. To be fair, most modern platforms provide these standard features as a basic requirement, yet Base44 seems to block all standard forms of ownership verification.
I’m not looking for a complex workaround; I’m talking about the industry-standard methods that every other builder offers. If we can't get our sites indexed properly, organic growth is practically impossible.
Am I the only one frustrated by this? Has anyone found a legitimate way to verify their site on Search Console with Base44? If there’s no way to do this, I feel like this is a deal-breaker and a serious flaw for anyone trying to build a public-facing site.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has managed to solve this.
