WhatsApp Integration for User Verification

Hello Base44 Team,

I’d like to request the addition of WhatsApp integration as a verification option within the platform. Currently, when building apps that require user verification, the process is tied to Google verification. While this works, there are use cases where it would be beneficial to disable Google verification entirely and instead provide a WhatsApp-based verification flow.

This would allow developers to:

• Reach users who may not have easy access to Google services.

• Provide a more localized and user-friendly verification method, especially in regions where WhatsApp is the dominant communication channel.

• Improve onboarding flexibility by letting app owners choose between Google, WhatsApp, or both as verification options.

We believe this feature will not only enhance the verification experience but also expand the usability of apps created on Base44 to a wider audience.
