For several days I've been trying to create an app with Base44, only to end up with no results.
I paid for two plans: first the Builder plan at $40/month, which I upgraded to the Pro plan at $80/month.
I should have only been charged the $40 difference for the upgrade from Builder to Pro, but Base44 charged me for both, totaling $120 per month ($1440/year).
That's already dishonest, and even a scam that deserves to be exposed in the media.
And of course, no one to answer you if you are dissatisfied.
But the worst part is that after four or five days of constant feedback about recurring problems, despite my repeated alerts, my app is completely unusable.
I'm furious, I'm wasting my time and money, and I'm seriously considering alerting the media about Base44's utter incompetence, which is bordering on fraud.
For five days, Base44 tried to fix my problems with eight or ten solutions, all of which proved completely ineffective.
When, by some miracle, they managed to fix a problem, it would reappear two or three hours later.
And each time, Base44 tried to repair it, again, with eight or ten totally ineffective "solutions."
It's like this constantly.
They "fix" a problem that comes back just a few hours later.
All this just to drain people's trust.
Base44 is an unreliable and extremely dangerous platform for those who want to create professional websites or SaaS offerings.
In addition to the 3 hours I spent yesterday, I just spent another 5 to 6 hours with GPT Chat support (70% of which was spent writing lines of code) trying to fix my problems.
Not only is it still completely negative, but new bugs keep appearing.
My app is, I admit, very complex.
This app is designed to analyze (by scraping) professional websites, based on more than 60 search parameters.
Even when using manual search (without scraping) via URL import, the results are unreliable.
Buttons and functions suddenly stop working after a few hours.
The displayed results are inaccurate. Previously fixed bugs reappear.
Base 44 is an unfinished product. A beta version riddled with problems that, even after being fixed by a seemingly incompetent AI, reappear after 3 or 4 hours.
I wouldn't even trust it to create an app that tells you when to change your socks.
